Although you mentioned in your note that Dor Mhoineache Rotti is a
96-year-old publication, first out in 1915, I wonder if you are aware that
it was started in Karachi, my home town, by some zealous souls until it was
moved to Goa at the time of partition. Card. Gracias, who wasa Karachi
'boy' told us when he visited Karachi after his ordination as bishop in
1946, that it was the only publication his mother read as she only knew
Konkani. The Rotti Press still functions in Karachi and brings out the
Christian Voice and other publications.
