I'm sure this would be the reality of the majority of
Goanet's
readers, who were also economic refugees, whether in
places like
"British" East Africa, Abidan, Basra, Aden, Karachi,
Rangoon, or
wherever.... Correct me if I'm wrong. The tail

colonial Goa was a great reality are those
out-of-touch handful of
colonial "elites" who had it good (or thought they
