Here comes Goa's First Konkani Karoake VCD (with a video clip 'Mollbavelo Dhou')
I finally manged to pick up one copy from Leonora's Restaurant, Verna on our way back from Sangem Tollea Mines. VCD No: 112 (Karoake) BHANGARACHEM GOEM by Agnelo Da Costa/Leonoras (Golden Goa) With Anna, Bushan, Reancy, Savio, Treza, Astrida, Agnelo da Costa, Jennifer Pinto, Cajetan de Curtorim etc etc. Rs.300 Dec/2006 Available at Leonora's for Rs.200. Other Classics DVDs like AMCHEM NOXIB, NIRMONN etc also available there. I also pick up one Goan Observer complementary copy from there as they were all run out at usual stands. Another song I like the one which was a tribute to Goan Trumpeters like Chirs Perry, Fidelis, JuJu, Douglas, Domingo Rosario, Marian Rodrigues, Reginald Fernandes, Frank Fernandes, Luis Piedade, CP (Ponda), Felly etc etc (with their pics) >From the last song, I come to know more about this man Mr. Jerome Mendes >where it is said that he is the one who took Alfred Rose (show) to England 1979 for the first time (with a bit of video footage), organised Volks Wagen Beetle car rally in Goa, his new project 'St. Anthony Hospital' in Goa etc. with video footage. Finally, I must say the price tag (Rs.300) seems too much for a single CD (VCD). May be it available for Rs.200 everywhere.. Congratulations to Agnelo Da costa and Jerome Mendes for this beautiful Karaoke VCD. I also wish to thank Mr. Jerome Mendes for allowing me to use a clip to put up on the net.
