Nasci responds: Santosh, these are only small charges to defray costs; and most of the money actually spent 'helping people who go there, in Hope, come from wellwishers and affluent people who 'give that others may recieve'. I do not expect (that you being of Hindu background who are not used to this type of charity per se.) you to fully agree to this! Santosh: >>Hope is clearly being sold here. What we are witnessing is not spirituality, but a >>spiritual business based on deception and false >>advertisement. > This is also true of miracle-mongering Hindu godmen > like Satya Sai Baba. Nasci responds: The phenomena that occurs at POTA is very real and is very different from what you are saying about Sai Baba etc.! At POTA and other like places of the type, there is no, one man leader like your Sai Baba; but thre is intense Faith and repentance and spirituality of a very high order is gained by total submission to the Will of God, and that is when The Holy Spirit then invoked, actually descends on the persons who are in a spiritual trance, so to say. That is when the 'healing and cures take place' in most cases. The person leading this service need not even be a Priest, but the belief is that God acts through this person who is just an instrument of conveyance. God does the work. The Holy Spirit Does! Go and experience it yourself; If miracles or cures don't happen to you means 'U are skeptical yet! You will have at least experienced the Heights of Spirtuality, and feel happy about self! Don't have to go to Pota! but any genuine Christian Charismatic Service environment will do! Don't worry, I will ask them to waive the costs for you! How dare you compare this Phenomena with the likes of Sai Baba?? Hinduism and Hindu religious do not yet comprehend what 'God' really is. They make a mockery of themselves by believing that any thing and everything is god except the harijan? If one believes in God, then where is the need to worship animals? How much more ridiculous can this get? Is this not so?? Santosh, I did NOT want to write or comment on Hindu religious but since you brought in Sai Baba into the equation, I had to, OK?? You are the first offender, if there is any offence at all. No hard feelings! Learn Christian Theology and you will have been redeemed from hindu to agnostic to a true Christian, not a pretentious Christian! I welcome you, Santosh. Nasci Caldeira Melbourne Down Under.
