What Cecil says is right in theory. The reality is that monotheistic faiths have a tendency to "prove" their own correctness (over others). And this makes it easy to slip into a tendency of trying to, likewise, "prove" other faiths wrong. Or "ours" superior to "theirs". We need to keep this in mind in an increasingly inter-connected world, where no people or faith group are an island. No harm in reminding ourselves of the strengths and weaknesses of each faith group. FN
