It may be of no use, Gabriel. For one thing, it seems to me that TOI has been co-opted by the Navy (through some business deal) and is biased towards them in their reporting and editorialising (though it has talked of defence etc in general). Secondly, the Navy is hidebound as far as criticism is concerned and simply goes its merry way at Dabolim like Ole' Man River. Thirdly, the Dabolim story is a real can of worms which I wonder if any one can get to the bottom of. But thanks for setting the record straight regarding the pre-1961 situation and the accounting angle vis a vis AAI in your welcome post. Regards, Phil.
