This BBC Radio broadcast program that Eddie Fernandes has linked is
about 23 minutes long, but I recommend that every Goanetter take the
time to listen to it.
It is as eye-opening as it can get. Especially appalling is the
reaction of the Senior Superintendent of Police and the Minister in
charge of Social Development. Typical BABOO denial mentality of both.
How one can have intelligent educated and thinking people living in
Goa that can allow such administrators and politicians to be part of
their lives, I cannot for the life of me understand. And if they are
helpless to change the situation then I submit that India is a
mobocracy, not a democracy.
