The above is a ridiculous generalisation. The common man understands
very few of the many of scientific concepts in use today.
We accept most laws of science to be true because we see them at work
in all the technology surrounding us today, but it does not mean that
we understand them.
Furthermore, Scientists have been visualising the unknown for
centuries. To cite a few examples of accurate theories that were
proposed well before they could be experimentally verified or
"visualised".
1. Maxwell's Electromagnetic Theory.
2. Einstein's theory of relativity.
3. Chandrashekar limit for existence of black holes.
