Hi Reena,
That photograph would probably be quite authentic if taken along the
Candolim-Calangute-Baga stretch as there is an elephant (Laxmi) paraded
around the area daily collecting donations from incredulous tourists wanting
to take pictures of it mounted by a saffron clad swami and heralded by
another two clanking a pair of brass cimbals.
Not exactly a picture you would associate with Goa
