Today's HERALD has a brief update on this on the front page. It says "The
Navy has not handed over 9 acres of land to the Goa government so far". It
goes on to say the following:"In view of this ... he also called on the
Defence Minister, A.K. Anthony." Any problem with the relations between Dy
CM and the Admiral? Besides, why cant the land be handed over directly to
AAI wthout the Goa govt getting into the picture and delaying matters? Btw,
the present episode has been incorporated into the wikipedia article on
Dabolim airport (see google) as an example of the "convoluted communication
process" over Dabolim. Cheers.
