Manohar,

See Note from Cajetan Rego below. Some enlightened Goans have realised what
an efficient and non-corrupt CM you were and want you back as CM in May for
the greater good of our beloved Goa. There are others who are still drunk
with the illicit feni (saffronization, communalism) given to them by the
Goan Gaon Goon Chors who are ruling Goa today and making a GAAN of the place
! Sober or not, BJP will still not sell in the Velhas Conquistas ! You need
to take the pulse of the place. You need to wait till these folks sober up,
convince them of your agenda to attain Goa Dourada and you will win with a
BIG margin in May !

Best Regards,
Dr. Carmo D'Cruz,

Organising IFFI 2004 was a near-impossible feat that Manohar bab achieved.
That talks of his efficiency. Had it not happened, Goa would have lost it to
some other state. IFFI is an event that has a high potential of generating
revenue for the state. Goa has to capitalise on its popularity and Parrikar
rightly tapped it. Money does not fall from the sky. All expenditure on IFFI
is an investment that gets recovered several times.

It was Goa's mistake that Parrikar was not given a clear majority in
previous elections, because of which he had to tie up with some of today's
unwanted MLAs. Had he not done this, things like the sale of Goa would have
happened long back and we would be living a concrete jungle already.

It is high time we Goans realize this and give Parrikar a clear majority. It
is the leadership that matters. The rest of BJP is not any better than the
Congress, I agree. IITian or not, Parrikar is efficient.

Cajetan Rego,
Tivim, Goa
