Manohar,
Thanks for your reply.
Besides Valmiki Faleiro, there are many other Goans who want you back as the
most efficient, non-corrupt CM Goa has had, but they too need an explanation
of the other side - to clarify their perception about you and Government
you headed - May be you should have a series of "TownHall Type" Meetings in
the church squares/town centers in the various parts of Goa.
All Goans want the best CM choice to usher in Good Governance in Goa -
despite all the mud-slinging and saffronization/communalism labelling being
carried out by the Goan Gaon Goon Chors ruling Goa today (and their
chumchas) and making a GAAN of the place ! And these Chors want to hold on
to their jobs to loot Goa more in the next few years !
Best Regards,
Dr. Carmo D'Cruz

now INDIAN Harbour Beach, Florida.

Dear Shri Valmiki,
This is with reference to your email dated 9th January, 2007. In this
regard, I wish to meet you anytime to explain on the other side of your
perception about me and Government I headed expressed in your email. "
But as I've always maintained, Parrikar is the right man in the wrong
party. He belongs to a national party whose policies he along cannot
change."
Can you send me your phone numbers so that I can speak and fix the time.
With regards,
Yours sincerely,
Manohar Parrikar
Leader of the Opposition Goa

Dear Carmo,
Thank you.
I've personally known Manohar Parrikar well enough to
say that the personal attributes you credit him with, are
largely true. He is a brilliant mind.
But as I've always maintained, Parrikar is the right man
in the wrong party. He belongs to a national party whose
policies he alone cannot change. If he quits and floats
a local outfit, with non-sectarian minded people, the
course of Goa's politics will change for the better.
Regards, Valmiki
