A delegation of the Goa Bachao Abhiyan (Save Goa
Campaign)led by its Convenor Dr, Oscar Rebello today
called on Chief Secretary Mr. J. P. Singh to reiterate
the demand of the GBA that the Regional Plan 2011 has
to be de-notified with retrospective effect i.e. 10th

2011 was notified.

consult the Advocate General on this issue and revert
back to the GBA by 25th January.

both the North and South Goa District Collectors were
in the process of preparing a list of all land
conversions issued based on the Goa Regional Plan
2011.
The Chief Secretary assured the delegation that by an
Executive order there would be a blanket ban on any
construction permissions that come under the Goa
Regional Plan 2011.

Secretary to the rampant unauthorized hill cutting,
CRZ and land use violation going on across Goa. The
