Thanks for the dope, George. Will try to digest it and reconcile the facts
provided therein with those appearing in the newspaper articles I referred
to. The main bone of contention seems to be with the word "dam" and the
quantum of water (to be) impounded. The problem for me is that the
Karnataka area involved might as well be on the surface of Mars! Should be
an educational experience, right? Cheers.
