I wonder why the author Nirmala Carvalho says that the village of Chandor -
which we all know is part of the Salcete taluka - falls in "Goa Island". In
fact, there is no island named Goa, but Goa has several islands like
Tiswadi, Divar, Chorao, Jua (or Santo Estevao), Cumbarjua, Corjuem, Calvi,
Ponelem, etc.
