Eduardo Faleiro Visiting Lisbon
Commissioner for NRI, Mr. Faleiro will leave for Lisbon on 6th Feb and returns
on Feb.16
He has been invited by the Universidade Lusofonia of Lisbon to address the
first international
congress of Lusofonia to be held in Feb 8,9 & 10 in Lisbon.
Lusofonia is the movement of the Portuguese speaking countries of Europe,
Africa and Latin
America. However, representives of serveral countries of Asia including India,
China,
thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore have been invited as observers.
Faleiro will be
the only speaker from Asia to address the congress.
During his stay, he will also address some other meetings organised by embassy
of India.
