Dear Goanetters,
     I fail to see the logic in this post. The whole world recognized the 
existence of Portuguese colonies in South Asia; most of the world also 
realized, after World War II, that such colonies had the right to throw off 
the European yoke. Portugal was the last holdout in a crumbling imperial 
world.

     Bernado seems peeved that the "actions of '61" were "commanded by one 
keralite." Would it have made him feel differently if they were commanded by 
a Goan? The air attack was spearheaded by a Goan, Bernado. I hope you feel 
better now.
