Briefly, for those of you who might not on broadband, this is what he said..
Q. Since how long you been singing ?
R. At the age of 5 (that means, since 48 years)
Q. What made you sing on various themes/causes/issues etc
R. Music is a powerfull weapon to give message about the things which are
happeing around us
...when people read in the morning newspaper or hear something happening..it
affects me. I
feel very strongly about it. A painter might paint about it, a writer may
write about it,
somebody might even have a drink about it, I am singer and song writer, I write
about it and
sing about it.
Q. How do you feel about the award 'Padmashree'..
R. O my God!...bagfull of emotions.. this is like 'father of all awards'...
Any awards from Goa Government ?
R. ..Petty little Goa Govennment........
