Was something similar in place pre-Dec 1961? i.e. only
those who paid taxes to the state could vote for the
parliamentarian to represent Goa in Parliament in
Lisbon. Someone please confirm.
Skeptics please note that Dr Francisco Luis Gomes, Dr.
Froilano Machado and Purxotoma Quenim were some of the
parliamentarians representing Goa in Portugal's
parliament.
