AN ANALYSIS OF BUDGET '07 AT XAVIER'S
A programme on "Budget '07 - An Analysis" is being organized by the
Departments of Commerce and Economics of St. Xavier's College, Mapusa, at
St. Xavier's College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Mapusa, College Hall at
12:00 noon on 2nd March, 2007.
There will be a panel discussion with special emphasis on impact of
the Budget on direct taxes, agriculture and rural development, industry and
capital markets.
As the Budget has great relevance to people from different walks of
life, participation is kept open to all the members of the public.
The improvement of the condition of the aam aadmi and reduction in
his hardships is expected to be the main focus of this budget.
