Dear Friends,
I would like to update you on some information on a Goan who some of you may
find interesting. Dr Sangeeta Fernandes Phd. (health communications) is the
newly appointed director for ' The Centre for HIV research' in Los Angeles.
She is a gold medalist in french literature from Goa University (she speaks
excellent french). In addition she has another masters in french at
University of Southern California, Los angeles. A masters in business
administration and a masters in health communications, in which she finally
did her thesis at USC, in California.
This little Goan girl has studied all the way to the end using her own
finances and on scholarship funding, and I think is a good example of
determination and Goan genius.
