been able to carry on the vision of preserving the past for posterity. The
last three exclusive concerts at Goa Chitra received an overwhelming response.
The crowds poured in from different parts of Goa with high expectations which
were satiated with quality performances by the bands. From the word go people
were on the dance floor with an encore resonating the walls of the
amphitheatre. The expectations continue with Goa Chitra’s fund raising
concerts,‘ The Great Music Revival Concert’ series 2013-2014. The season’s
next event, promises an equally exciting performance, a real treat music lovers
- a special concert- presenting for the first time in Goa, four accomplished
singer-musicians, the quartet, Nirmika & The Few Good Men, on the 21st of
December 2013, 8 PM onwards. The band features a mélange of professional
performing artists with Nirmika Singh (vocals), Chaitanya Bhaidkar (guitar),
Anand Bhagat (percussion) and Jerson Anthony (bass).Being a bi-lingual pop-rock
and urban-folk outfit presently based in Mumbai and with all members’ masters
in their own right, the band offers diversity in its music that is rarely found
in contemporary bands. The concert includes snacks and buffet dinner. To
