I remember as a child when we lived in village of bardez we used to travel in 
camiaos. It was 13 seater or 15 seater bus. More like a big maruti van.On the 
back side there were two long seats and in front the driver seat and one 
passenger seat. The conductor collected tickets which was six anna to eight 
anna. The bus would move out from the stand only when it used to be full. Apart 
from the regular seats people also sat on small stools. The conductors were 
very nice and gentle and helpful. People usually went to Mapuca on Fridays. The 
bus stand was in front of the Mapuca Municipal council. Soon after Abreu Lobo's 
institute the bazzar would start. There were shops made of tin . I remember 
CDesouza Cafe, Cafe Aurora, and I think cafe xavier. In the glass cupboard 
there used to be big ball cheese. Mom used to take us to these cafe for tea and 
we would finish the entire plate of snacks that were kept on the table. The
