Dilip Sardesai never represented Goa. He got his break in Bombay.
He also played for ACC, then one of the premier teams in the country,
with Mafatlal and Tatas. Bombay is perhaps the toughest place to get
recognized as far as cricket talent goes. Sardessai retired in mid-70s.

If you are referring to Colin Rodrigues who played at Panjim Gymkhana,
he was not even close to Dilip Sardesai's talent. I have seen both Dilip 
Sardessai
and Colin play. Goa got its Ranji Trophy status in the 80s, perhaps too late 
for
Colin to show his talents!
