This is by no means a complete account. Information has been collected from 
various and multiple sources on the net. There is a lack of pre portuguese 
information which needs be addressed. Thanks to all those who took the trouble 
to place the information for public consumption. 
I hope this is only the beginning and a comprehensive unbiased account of the 
history of Goa may be written.
