RESPONSE: Just for the record it is Mitsui and co. and it is Mitsubishi corp.
I worked for Mitsui and Co, the big Japanese trading company some 35
years ago !!
Proper name M.B.K Mitsui Busan Kaishi.
Mitsubishi is MSK Mutsibishi Shoji Kaisha.
These trading companies were even bigger power houses before the
second World War. Mitsui was mighty and the Americans cut their wings
in the peace agreement.
Japan's success after the war can be attributed to their trading
companies, which have offices all over the World. Some of the biggest
deals done, are by the big Japanese trading houses ! There are some
other big Japanese trading co's such as Marubeni, C. Itoh and more.
