RESPONSE: Roland, I do appreciate your substantive reply; I do hope,
this has also been of immense benefit to our many Canadian Goans, who
view this site, but who are silent observers!
It is simply wonderful that we have this Goanet, whereby, we can help,
one another.
Just one question....how does a Canadian National working in a Tax
free environment, i.e. the Gulf, avoid being taxed...if he has left
Canada, he is gone !
Also, I did get entry into Canada but did not avail of the facility
and let the one year to enter lapse. Am I liable for Canadian taxes,
or is it only those who entered even for one day ?
If I do owe, they can go and fly a kite !
Thanks in advance,
