Competition Tiatr Videos , JoeGoaUk etc Those of you who missed the Tiatr or a particular Tiatr from the past competitions. You may not be aware that DVD or CD of each tiatr is available at TAG’s Library. When you Visit Goa or TAG, one can watch it there (Don’t know if it is also lent to take home for watching like library books etc) Tiatr Directors also get one copy. I get many queries asking when a tiatr or their tiatr clippings will be up in the youtube. When I suggest them to watch it at TAG, it seems they prefer watching on the net. To make a video of a tiatr clips, takes whole night or hours involving lot of patience Only a tiatr lover or supporter like me may do such job. Some may accused me of making money on the tiatr clips on youtube (I Know some directors do) I tell you, it may be easier to make money on funerals than on Tiatr (Funeral, I don’t mean of politicians). Even if a tiatr clip stays in youtube for 10 years, I will never be able to recover the actual money / costs on it, leave alone the time, patience and the sleep. Moreover, I am with Youtube since 2006, earlier I was with google Video. (I won’t be wrong if I say I am the first person to make available Konkani videos on the net or youtube) And you will see that Tiatr clips on youtube since then. Youtube Adverts started in 2012 (my clips, half of them claimed by the music co including Tiatr clips for playing recorded or cover song background music etc). The music I used for my clips is also copyrighted, I am only allowed to use in the clips but not to make money on it, if I do, any pennies earned go to the owners as in claimed videos) Hope some people are not accusing me of making money on Tiatr photos. There is no such thing with Flikr, although you may see ads sometimes. About 2000 Competition tiatr pics uploaded this time (1992 precisely as of now and can go up) At least 17 tiatr have 50 or over and 7 have 80 pics or over. 98 and 99 being the highest To put photos in the net is also time consuming. E.g. to upload 30 good pics I must choose from over 300 pics for the best or better ones. Then water-marking is another headache. Just to say that its not like cut and paste. Or cut and drop. In other words, it not so easy as downloading and then uploading the same into one’s FB Profile etc Again, I have been doing that since 2006, the little one then now become big heroes or heroine, some of them even act in professional tiatr now. How nice it would be to see / watch their acting 7/8 years ago! I tell you all this because you won’t know if I don’t. Technically, I may be a ‘chor’ or a thief but my conscious says I am not.
