About the institutes in Goa & much confusao Instituto Abade da Faria was on the Abade da Faria, Margao, most creditably run by professor Xelenkar. It taught the primeiro & segundo ciclos (primeiro até o quinto ano).
Mapuca had the Liceu Municipal, with just primeiro ciclo. Besides the Liceu Afonso de Albuquerque, teaching all three ciclos, Panjim had Matmó's Instituto da Instrucao, with also three ciclos. I contributed to much confusao prevzailing in the P & M institutes during their later years in existance.
