Musical Dancing Fountain at Ana Fonte: Near BPS Club Margao
-Inaugurated on 2/3/07 at the hands of Arts & culture Minister Digambar Kamat
-It has been designed, installed and commisioned by Bangalore based firm BNA
Technology
Consulting Ltd.
-It's cost is Rs.18.15 lakhs
-It's 20 minute show only, currently on Fridays/Saturdays & Sundays 7.30pm.
-It utilises the most advanced technology to create synchronisation between
sound, light and
water with the fountaines controlled by a microprocessor-based controller
having 48-channels
with one or two individual channels controlling each fountain formation that is
of duration of
20 minutes.
-Since each individual pattern is controlled by an individual motor pump, there
can be no
failure in the fountain show.
-It uses very little water that is re-circulated and the lost of water is
negligible.
-There were about 3000 people to witness the show on the 3rd day i.e. Sunday
the 4th March

-Starting with patriotic' Vande Mataram' song
