What surprises me in the discussions on this Gentleman (capital G, to my dislike, in deference to Mr. Driscoll's plea) is that there has been no reference at any time to the JEEP SCANDAL in which he was deeply involved, which ushered in The Age of Corruption in independent India. Also in connection with Mr. Driscoll's post, (Devil or angel?) as a keen philatelist of decades' standing I have always mightily admired the postage stamp issued by the Govt. of India in his honour because, if one puts two little horns on that head, it so reminds you of the devil in Dante's "INFERNO".!!!
