PANJIM: Even as the Goa Police CID economic offences cell is probing the fraudulent sale of Arjuna Awardee Dr Otilia Mascarenhas' ancestral house in Porvorim<http://bygerarddsouza.blogspot.in/2013/12/arjuna-awardee-dr-otilias-prime-land.html>, it has come to light that her property and house has not been sold once but twice by the same person impersonating her dead uncle José Avito Pinto do Rosario. What's even more interesting, Moses João Fernandes son of João Fernandes, unmarried Indian aged 42, years and resident of House No. 1457, Benaulim, who was the buyer of the property from the impersonator in the first sale deed, has now signed as a witness in the second one vindicating Dr Mascarenhas' stand that this is a nexus of property thieves and fraudsters who are on the prowl in Goa. In both cases, Moses acquired power of attorney of people who owned the property and who were dead.
