I need some old information, may be some of your readers can give me. I was in Panjim during first Republic Day of India on 26 January 1950. Was staying in Hotel Hamburg, Rua Cunha Rivera, Panjim, run by a German Exile from WWII, Herr Frederick Vetters. He allowed me to use old Radio in Hotel Lobby to listen to Hindi film Music at Radio Goa broadcast from a .5 kW shortwave transmitter channel was 7230 kHz in the 41 metre band. Old films were 'Anmol Ghadi, Rattan, Shaheed, Mahal, Andaz, Barsat, Pyar ki Jeet, 'Mela' etc. The disc jockey was a young Doctor whose name I've forgotten !
