Indian origin Sunita Williams working for NASA took alongwith her a statue of Ganesha and a copy of Bhagvad Gita when she got an opportunity to go to International Space station for research work and she may most probably do the same thing if in the future she gets an opportunity to go to Moon or Mars........so far there is no news about American European Canadian origin astronauts taking a statue of Jesus Christ & a copy of Bible to International space station......RBI has released 5 rupee coins with the image of Vaishno devi but reserve/central banks in western countries will never issue coins with the image of Jesus or Mother Mary......except for weddings, christenings, funerals the people in western countries have no interest in sunday church service, nor worship in song, nor fellowship of church, nor gospel, etc........To quote the famous German philosopher Frederich Nietzsche, when it comes to Christianity in Western countries..."God is dead"...... But the decline in cultural Christianity in Western countries does not mean the decline of Christianity in the world.....that's because Jesus Christ had promised His church would NEVER END..........here in Bombay some lay catholic groups have organized a rally at Azad Maidan on 15 March 2014 around 3 pm to protest against the anti-catholic policies of BMC & Maharashtra government..........the success of that rally depends upon how many catholic parish priests & how many native catholics or eastindians ( www BOMBAYLAND.BLOGSPOT com ) take part in that rally.........and how many newspapers & tv news channels are prepared to give coverage for the rally......and if any observers of foreign governments will be interested in attending the rally......and if the leaders of various catholic groups will be interested in giving fiery speeches.....and ofcourse the funds, permissions, etc required to organize the rally.........and the blood sweat time the organizers will have to sacrifice for organizing the rally.
AAP loksabha candidates (medha patkar, mayank gandhi, etc) for the bombay region should be kind enough to disclose what ideas they have got to protect the last few bits of openspaces mangroves saltpanlands forestlands collectors lands in bombay from being grabbed by landmafia, slumlords, buildersmafia, mhada, bmc........and if they have any ideas on breaking the builder-politician-babu nexus in bombay.......and if they support ration cards, water connections, drainage, voting rights to people who have encroached lands in bombay in broad daylight......and if they support free apartments for land encroachers under the SRA scheme.....and if they have any ideas to save the 4500 sq km bombay metropolitan region from the builders lobby drafted FSI policy. Anna Hazare's 17-point charter which he has recently sent to all political parties includes passing of Lokpal, Citizens Charters and Whistleblowers Bill, recognizing gram sabhas as the basic administrative unit, power station in every village, declaring black money in foreign banks as national asset, a new tax policy, containing inflation, making government decisions taken in all matters except defence and foreign affairs public after two months to bring in more transparency, making villages as the nucleus before chalking out policies, no land acquisition from farmers tribals fisherfolks without their approval, major electoral changes like Right to Recall and Right to Reject, opposition to privatisation of rivers and reservoirs, ending disparity between the rich and the poor......at the moment only mamta banerjees TMC has agreed to the 17 point charter. The focus of the catholic church/clergy/missionaries in India is not of improving the health wealth housing jobs land-holdings security of the existing catholics in India.........the focus is on converting more poor non-catholics to catholicism...........but what purpose is it going to serve.........whatever meager resources that are meant for the existing catholics will have to be shared with the new converts......and most of these poor new converts neither have money neither land to built new churches & new educational institutions. In 2009....inspite of corruption & inflation & landacquisition & many other problems....majority of the people in India still voted for the Congress party.........that's because majority of the people in India wanted a stable government at the centre.......... No matter which political party ( congress, bjp, aap, etc ) comes to power at the centre in may/june 2014........if they are serious about making India a wealthy & secular country.....then they will have to strictly enforce two child policy all over India, increase the legal marriageable age from 18/21 to 25 years, pass stringent laws against female foeticide / infanticide / embyrocide, pass strict laws against corruption, blackmoney, etc, pass stringent laws against divisive politicians, communal forces, casteist forces, slumlords, landmafia, buildersmafia, etc......AND improve infrastructure, industries & job-opportunities in rural & backward districts of India......as well as implement Anna Hazares 17 point charter......as well as include all poor sections of all religious groups in the governments reservation list including dalit christians/muslims. Christians/Catholics in India don't indulge in terrrorrist activities, antti-national activities, smuggling/underworld activities......dont indulge in cheating & corruption activities......dont indulge in arson looting rioting activities........dont indulge in communal & fundamentalist activities......dont indulge in criminal activities........don't indulge in encroaching openspaces mangroves collectors lands to create slums......don't indulge in female foeticide/infanticide.......dont indulge in overpopulation activities.........AND.....christians/catholics marry at a late age and are content with 1 or maximum 2 children and are extremely secular & work with honesty and dedication wherever they work..........but in-spite of being very peaceful & law abiding citizens why do christians/catholics in India face religious discrimination ?. No Unlimited resources (land water oil gas diesel petrol kerosene cng png lpg electricity gold silver diamond coal steel iron copper aluminium wood fruits foodgrains cement iron bricks sand houses skilled/unskilled jobs etc).......but the population in India keeps on increasing and correspondingly all these problems also keeps on increasing....... i.e. poverty, lack of housing, lack of peace, lack of education, lack of jobs or other employment, lack of hygiene, lack of sanitation medicines and health care, lack of transport, food shortage, water shortage, land shortage, growth of slums, anger, fights, beating, shouting, quarrels, crying, breaking of things, arson, rioting, communal disharmony, forced begging, forced labor, committing variety of crimes, various nefarious activities like smuggling, settling personal feuds or in creating trouble during elections, mob mentality and damage and burning of public and private property.............CORRUPTION is a universal phenomenon; but then, in India, it is a curse for its people who are already cursed with poverty, illiteracy, casteism, communal disharmony and ill-health.
