A goan migrates to Canada, USA, etc .He goes there because these places are superior to our poor goa. We are poor people who have no father and mother. But after you have selected these places why do you call yourself a Goan ? You are no more a goan. Your passport is either British Passport, or a portuguese passport and i do not know which country you belong to but you are not any more an Indian and if you come to India you come as a tourist. To say that this person is of goan or Indian origin is an insult to us. We are goans because we live in Goa and follow Goan culture , and are happy with what is in Goa. To talk about our government and to give your suggestions is not a welcome idea. There may be corruption here in Goa. There might be robbery or dacoity in goa or dirt in goa. We can manage it ourselves. We are farmers, toddy tappers, fisherpeople, business people , hawkers, etc etc. our lights are dim, and our roads are bad, If you find dirt every where please go to other countries. Who makes all the dirt the people who visit Goa. the tourists. People who have migrated are so much in love with Goa and its culture and many of them are celebrating goan feasts in their respective land because they are filling lost and memories of our goan culture and feasts come to their mind but some of them cannot afford air ticket and other expenses so they want to make goa in their land. I know foreigners do not want to mingle with Indians and they will not even talk to them unless a need arises. We are fun loving people. we do not care who is a goan, or outsiders and we know how to mingle with other people. We know how to drive on dirty roads and we do not get scared to eat any thing even from road side stalls for we are strong people. We can roam around with no clothes and drink well water which may look polluted. Goa is a land of beauties which some of you have sold for money and gone abroad and now you realise your mistake . Some had to even wash cars for a living .They come here to boast and they think we believe them. Goans in Goa are a intellegint lot. if you do not agree please tell us what you do and send us a video so that we can believe you or else please do not write a line.
