The 2014 Lok Sabha elections are very crucial for our country. It is a vital battle to safeguard secularism and the democratic values enshrined in our Constitution. Narendra Modi besides being highly communal is divisive and very dictatorial. The Modi cult has to be nipped in the bud as a one man rule would be disastrous for the country.
The people at large and the youth in particular should not to be misled by Narendra Modi's empty talk. The people of Goa are now paying a heavy price after being swayed by that Manohar Parrikar talk of tall promises in the run up to the 2012 Assembly elections. The plea for a vote for Narendra Modi resonates the virus of communalism sought to be spread, to divide this lovely State and our beautiful nation. I have been a very vocal and a bitter critic of the past misdeeds of the Congress party. Corruption can be checked by courts but the cancer of communalism is irreversible and will tear up the very secular fabric of our nation beyond repair. At the ensuing Lok Sabha elections scheduled on April 12th the right option for the people of Goa is to vote for Ravi Naik in North Goa and Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco in South Goa. Their symbol is the HAND. The RSS geared Aam Aadmi Party in Goa is clearly a B team of the BJP to split secular votes. We have to be very cautious and read between the lines while sniffing the political broth that is cooking with Dayanand Narvekar, Churchill Alemao and Shalom Sardinha also cleverly fielded and propped up at the behest of the BJP to split votes. Let us not waste our votes by voting in vain. Voting for candidates of the fringe parties and those independents would only indirectly help give Narendra Modi's BJP a back door entry which should be pre-empted at all costs. The people of Goa will reject the BJP after being witness and bearing the brunt of its current two year misrule in Goa embroiled in rampant corruption and maladministration with Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar having made endless U turns including on issues of Casinos, Regional Plan and his promise of Zero tolerance to Corruption. So on 12th April Ravi Naik in the North and Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco in South is the way to go. By voting for the HAND we would be rejecting communal forces and keep India safe and secure for posterity. For India to bloom, Narendra Modi's lotus needs to wilt.
