Thanks for highlighting these issues and enumerating the problems created by
the minnig lobby. As you know the Goa mine owners were once the richest guys
in India. They are not the richest guys any more !
But help is on the way - When Manohar Parrikar is elected Chief Minister of
Goa in a couple of months, we will take back our Amchem Goem, our forests
and our verdant hills from the unscrupulous mine owners. Once the Goan Gaon
Goon Chors of Congress who have made a Gaan of Goa are Gone, Advanced mining
and metallurgical and environmental techniques will be introduced in Goa so
that the environment is not destroyed.
