I think Mario wrote, "One can take a Goan out of Goa. Yet one cannot take Goa
out of a Goan."
That is the impression one gets, reading some posts whose main thrust is to
denigrate others, or zap their posts, without any effort to advance the
dialogue. These responses tend to "catch the bull by the tail." When I read
these posts, and being from Goenkars, I say to myself, "These Goenkars are
practicing the art of catching the dukor by the tail."
I am disappointed the otherwise smart Goans are catching the "pig by the tail"
(some innate aspect of the post) rather than addressing / expanding the main
thrust of the post. I hate to think what will happen to the dukors where these
skilled Goanetters visit Goa. Goanetters (like me) rooting for the dukors,
would do best by ignoring these posts. Thus, these guys do not get to be a
"dukor-tail-catcher" expert.
There are few gals on goanet, that no one should mess with - unless the person
is craving for an AJUTH. If this bulletin board was WebMD, we would call them
- Dr. Bendover.:=)) Keep it up ladies!!!
