*Scam as Beneficiaries of MGNREGA* It has been reported in today’s (April 27, 2014) all newspapers, a huge scam by beneficiaries of the Mahtama Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Assurance Scheme (MGNREGA), where several top cricketers are been involved like Sachin Tendulkar , Sourau Ganguly, Kapil Dev, Rahul David, Yuraj Singh and many others like Amitabh Bachan, Amir Khan etc and perhaps also includes our Chief Minister of Goa, Manohar Parrikar for money been siphoned off in implementation of the United Progressive Alliance flagship scheme in the state by making payment to bogus beneficiaries in the name of celebrities and even to their spouses and children. The list at the initial stage was mentioned from Chimbel area, a hub of labour market which has more than 1,000 beneficiaries. Who knows how much such areas are been involved and the scam is spreading. Why all these outsiders giants cricketers are getting involved and using this state for such scams and also there is a craze for the buying plots and bungalows, and hiring flats etc by these actors and outside politicians for holidaying purpose in Goa, are very much disturbing for us. If Parrikar being a Chief Minister of Goa, is getting also involved in such scams probably he is teaching them how to get richer at the cost of Goa and may be Goa will be one day sold permanently to these outsiders so that we remain what we Goans have their meager plot or housing for their living. This is a real exhibition put up by the Goa Government for sale of Goa.
