Glad Gabe put this out on goanet. I enjoyed Dan Snow's presentation of this programme. Dan, a historian and TV present has a wonderful knack of presenting such programmes. His use of the letters and diaries of people who were there- to tell the story of the firm that revolutionised the British lifestyle, brought all these past events to life. He went on to explain how the East India Company laid the foundations of today's global trading systems, sparking a new age of speculation and profit. Can't wait for the next in this series next Wednesday. Hope as many of interested goanetters will be able to access this programme.
