It was a lovely sunny day, too hot for a suit, the Superior General of the SFX Society was the main Celebrant.
We had a lovely celebration; most of all we came to show our support and solidarity. We need the Goan Chaplaincy more than the Goan Chaplaincy needs us. The majority of the attendees were relativly new comers, it is they who carry the survival of the Chaplaincy, East African Goans were conspicuously, inconspicuous save for a small number. Rev Fr. Lucas thanked one and all and especially those who came from Swindon, Reading and Welling. The bands who provided the music and those who helped run the Bar.
