CII was fortunate to work closely with Hon'ble Prime Minister during his term as Chief Minister of Gujarat when we partnered on innovative new initiatives for industrial growth in the state. We believe Hon'ble Prime Minister would shape a strong agenda to engage private sector entrepreneurs with national development, including through structured dialogue mechanisms and shared activities. CII would present its suggestions on the policy framework for growth, as also its ongoing and proposed programme of action with the new Government. Indian industry would build on its association with Hon'ble Prime Minister to forge an extensive partnership with the new Government and facilitate a conducive climate for growth and investment. As a partner in national development, CII would proactively work with the Government on joint initiatives that would best enable empowerment of the people of India. CII strongly appreciates the selection of Cabinet Members. We are delighted to see a lean team. A lean teamwork would definitely lead to effective governance.
