This short term course is being organized under the joint auspices of the National Film Archive of India, Pune and the Entertainment Society of Goa with a vision to educate film enthusiast on the art of appreciating films. The course is open to all who are interested in film studies. The curriculum includes theoretical study of the art and history of cinema, development of cinema as a medium of art and communication and various other aspects of the medium. Classics from both Indian and International cinema will be used for critical analysis and study. The course will be conducted from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm every day at Maquinez Palace and the medium of instruction will be in English. The total number of seats available for the course is 60. Course Fee: Rs.5000/- (inclusive of lunch & snacks/tea/coffee). The DD should be drawn in favour of Entertainment Society of Goa, payable at Panaji, Goa. The prescribed Application forms are available at the office of ESG and can also be downloaded from the official website of the Entertainment Society of Goa i.e. www.iffigoa.org <http://www.iffigoa.org>.
