As far as Goa was concerned, ironically, Escola was but Goa Medical College was not for quote some time.....allegedly because of the turf battle not involving Bom U and MCI That is why Goa Med College graduates had to sit the PLAB in the UK ....until about 1975 when all IMGs and some others had to do so too. jc
