The thing is that the bharats had this complex that they were ruled by the 
british and hence the superiority. Cardinal Gracias did not inform them that 
the brits recruited many EMG graduates during their rule before 1947. Today one 
can see the  pitful and despicable state of  the now so called GMC. 
 
EMG was the pride of Goa and Goans. It produced top doctors, investigators and 
health professionals who were employed  across many continents. From the EMG 
graduated 1,327 doctors and  469 pharmacists 1842-1963. The first Hindu doctor  
Sacarama Borcar gradutated  in 1908.
