While the impoverished farmers of Goa have been desperately seeking intervention from the rain gods, ironically the innocent little children at Sharada Mandir School may be praying for a dry spell so that they do not become victims of the perilous dug up Miramar- Dona Paula road in front of their school. God is heeding to the prayers of the young children. If only some foresight, wisdom and prudence had prevailed upon the authorities this entire chaos and nightmare faced by the students, their parents and the commuters on this road could have been avoided.
