Knowing what he did, WHY would he bring the topic up himself? (b) What was that smug smile in aid of? (c) You are going to DONATE the land? (d) Does "donation" of the land take care of any primary issue? 3: was that Democracy in action or Damucracy? Additionally, one hears the salutation "Speaker Sir". Where on earth was this "Speaker Sir" hiding while this Tamasha of two individuals speaking simultaneously was going on? Isn't there a provision for a "Point of Order" ? 4: watching the 'danga-masti' going on in this supposed to be 'hallowed' people's house, do we now expect the Janta / Aam Admi to behave differently on the streets? 5: I suppose, when Dec 19 comes along, we will all be garlanding each other. 6: while this may NOT be the only case of Land Swipe in Goa, a few lessons beckon us from this On-TV episode: (a) whichever party-hat these party hopping chaps wear, they are still the same. (b) never expect a back-stabbed individual to forget. 7: the rapidity with which CM Parrikar quoted 'section and subjection ' indicated (to me at least) that Mr. Parrikar was waiting for Mr Madkaikar. IF Mr. Madkaikar was smart, he would have laid low. But ... In Conclusion, Three words stand out prominently: Stupidity, Damucracy and Payback. jc
