*Meet Cajetan de Sanvordem at TAG’s ‘Meet The TiatrArtiste’ on 8th August.* Tiatr Academy of Goa will have its monthly programme ‘Meet the Tiatr Artiste’ on Friday, 8th of August, at 4:00 p.m at the Black Box Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. Tiatr Academy has invited a versatile tiatr artise and Kuwait fame Cajetan de Sanvordem to be the artiste for the month of August. Hailing from Sanvordem Cajetan is well known amongst the Goans and tiatr lovers especially at Kuwait for his excellent singing and acting capabilities. Cajetan de Sanvordem, together with Marcus Vaz and Xavier Gomes, formed the famed *trio-‘Cajetan-Marcus-Xavier’*, which created waves and enjoyed tremendous popularity in Kuwait as well as Gulf States and in Goa too. Cajetan de Sanvordem has acted in Konkani Tiatrs of Late Fr. Freddy J. Da Costa, M. Boyer, Remmie Colaco, Anthony San, H.Britton, Jose Rod, Roseferns, Jess Fernandes, Patrick Dourado, Vitorino Pereira, A. Morais, R.Morais, Rosario Dias, Chrismeena, Rosary Ferns, Marcus Vaz, Laurente Pereira, Mario de Majorda, Michael D'Silva, Simon Gonsalves, Xavier Gomes, Bonaventure D'Pietro, Jessy Dias, Jenifer Rod, Aleixinho de Maxem, Benny de Aldona, J.P. Parra, Tony Call, Mendes Bros., F.X.Pereira, Tony Bros., F.Cardoz, etc. Since 1976 Cajetan has been working in Kuwait but he has greatly contributed to the tiatr stage in Kuwait, U.K, other gulf countries and Goa too as and when time permits. The programme will be video recorded and preserved as a documentation for posterity.
