Dr.Francisco da Paula Porto, 195cm/6ft 4, 65 yo widower multimillionaire ex-bank director and now President of the National Union of Coconut Growers (founded, financed and run by him as a 3-hrs per day hobby it seems!) He took me to lunch last month and at my insistence went to a genuine local eatery - converted double garage of a house. He orders the food and says you must try this specialty of ours, its called sarapatel. Guess what? Exact copy, without our level of chillies (see my plate).
