When a friend departs memories of the past without calling it a "blast" flood
one's mind.
Alfred and me studied together at St. Xaviers ( then in Bastora.)
We all sat in back benches. :) and Alfred sat behind me.
He and 5 others were ex-Chowgule college guys, and these live-wires.
I caught up with Alfred years later in Loutulim at Emiliano da Cruz's home.
Often we meet ex-alumnis here and there - like I met one (Furtado) in Rio de
Janeiro in 1985, my ship had gone down (sunk) in the Beagle Channel and I had
flown to Brazil to get a visa for UK when someone at the British consulate told
me that ex-Alumini Furtado was there. and Poupito often in Panjim. The late
Bobo was another one of the "gang member" besides others. We had our fun, it
was clean fun, without mobiles.
Catching up with friends is something special.

May his family have much grace from above to bear this loss.
We will all miss him specially in Goanet.
R.I.P my friend!
